Advice from a 19-year-old girl and JavaScript developer

The importance of the tech world is growing exponentially, yet there is a huge group of people that think the tech world is too intimidating to be a part of it.

I'm a 19-year-old girl and JavaScript developer. I didn't go to university, had to deal with severe impostor syndrome as I was so young and often the only girl, and somehow I felt a certain responsibility to share my advice in an article on what I did to become a developer.

This article is now in the top 10 most read Medium articles ever, as people saw my enthusiasm and got their self-confidence and passion for programming back.

It's my goal to inspire and motivate more people to join the tech world, to show that programming is for anyone who loves to create, who loves to get out of their comfort zone, and who loves to improve themselves!
